Quality Dairy Ingredients

At Open Country we take pride in producing premium dairy products and ingredients from high quality New Zealand milk. In an industry that already has a global reputation for excellence, we ensure everything we produce is of exceptional quality.

All Open Country production plants have achieved the highest level of approval from the New Zealand Government’s Ministry for Primary Industries. Final products are tested by independent ISO 17025 laboratory, and we are accountable to the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) through our Risk Management Programme and Plan, plus our HACCP plan.

International Accreditation

All Open Country production plants have achieved the highest level of approval from the New Zealand Government’s Ministry for Primary Industries and have gained FSSC 22000 certification. This certifies that our Food Safety Management Systems follow global standards and provide traceability and control over the entire supply chain. Open Country’s Food Safety Policy can be made available to interested parties upon request.
