Whanganui Open Day a Showcase of Pride and Partnership
More than 250 people came through the gates for the Whanganui Site Open Day on 8 July, making it one of the best-attended open days the site has hosted.
Despite a forecast of heavy rain, the weather held, allowing suppliers, their families and visitors to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the factory and meet the people who keep it running every day.
Visitors took part in guided factory tours, explored a milk tanker, chatted with members of the Milk Supply team and Senior Management, and learnt more about how the site operates. A barbecue lunch, coffee cart, ice cream and refreshments helped round out the day, creating plenty of opportunities to catch up and connect.
The event was more than just an opportunity to open the factory doors. It showcased the expertise, innovation and teamwork behind the Whanganui site team while strengthening connections with our farmer suppliers whose milk makes it all possible.
Thank you to our visitors for the glowing feedback, including from the group of 23 ANZ Agri staff from New Plymouth, Whanganui and Palmerston North.
