It’s Cheese Month!

Organised by the New Zealand Specialist Cheesemakers Association, New Zealand Cheese Month runs through October each year to draw attention to the value of the local cheese industry.

To celebrate cheese and all its goodness this month we have some great facts for you about this much loved food.

Did you know that cattle were introduced to New Zealand in 1814 and that the first New Zealand dairy factory was established in 1871?
